Spirituality in the Treatment Process

Father Bill
While there is a spiritual component to recovery from addiction, we don't insist on any particular religious theme. The faith-based element helps a patient re-establish a connection with the world and a "higher power" beyond what's "in their own head" where they may have been living for quite awhile.

In treatment, as well as in the twelve-step programs that are an important part of lifelong recovery, we encourage the individual to identify that "higher power" to which he or she can devote themselves. This may be the traditional God of their understanding, or something else that really matters, that is more important than the "high" that consumed their life in addiction.

Non-denominational services are conducted for voluntary attendance each week.
