Assistant Program Manager
Mike has over 10 years’ experience in working in behavioral health, and began his career working in an outpatient setting for adolescents with addiction and mental health issues. Mike has worked in a variety of settings but has called Livengrin home for the last 6 years.
He holds a BS and MS from Saint Joseph’s University and is a certified Court Reporting Network Evaluator, a certified DUI evaluator, and is certified in Moral Reconation Therapy. Mike lives in Philadelphia and enjoys spending time with his family.

Todd has been with Livengrin since 2013 starting as a contractor for DUI services, then as an outpatient counselor, and now as a program manager. Todd came to work at Livengrin because of his desire to help others and because of Livengrin’s excellent reputation in the Philadelphia area.
Todd graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Psychology and from La Salle University with an M.A. in Clinical Counseling Psychology. Todd enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching sports.
Babette began her career in 1980 specializing in addiction treatment. Her experience includes residential treatment, working in hospital based detoxification units and for the past ten years, as a Program Manager at Livengrin’s Outpatient Centers.
For many years, Babette has served in an advocacy role with the goal of reducing the stigma and discrimination of addiction, challenging insurance companies to uphold PA Law Act 106 to ensure adequate treatment stays. She advocated for Parity of addiction and mental health treatment as compared to other chronic diseases. Lastly, she created patient satisfaction surveys in an effort to help treatment providers and other recovery support services identify continuous quality improvement.
Babette holds Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and has been a Certified Addictions Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania since 1991. She has held various credentials over the years, the most recent as a Certified Intervention Professional. Her hobbies include reading, the beach, flea markets and best of all spending time with her three grandchildren.
Samantha has over 15 years’ experience in the Behavioral Health field. She joined the Livengrin Team in 2013, where she facilitated the grand opening of the Center City site, and guided its continued growth and development. She is currently the Program Manager at our Doylestown location.
Samantha is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Master’s Degree in Psychological Services. She also has an in interest in Equine Assisted Therapy. Samantha began her career as an outpatient therapist and continued her growth into supervision and management. She is motivated by the courage that patients show in asking for help every day, and honored that they chose Livengrin. Samantha is inspired by a quote in Ralph Waldo Emerson’s poem, entitled Success: “To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded”.

Denise Merritt has worked in the behavioral health field for 16 years, in roles such as social work, management, employee training and counseling. Denise transitioned to the substance abuse field and continues to find it fulfilling to empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles through
the recovery from addiction. Denise has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Temple University, and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Holy Family University. She also holds a certification as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC).
Tina has been working in the Substance Abuse/Mental Health field for over eighteen years. Her employment with Livengrin started in 2000. She left the Foundation on two separate occasions, only to return because of the dedication, knowledge and professionalism of Livengrin and its staff.
Tina holds a License as a Professional Counselor, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Psychology from Alvernia University, where she now teaches as an adjunct instructor. Tina has obtained certifications in the areas of addiction, co-occurring disorders and clinical supervision, and most recently she became certified as a DUI instructor. When she is not working, Tina enjoys vacationing and spending time with family and friends.
Molly has a decade of experience managing outpatient sites. Her diverse background in data analysis, process improvement, creating a small art business, public speaking, and event planning gives her an assortment of skills to craft creative solutions to problems in behavioral healthcare.
She has a B.S. in Psychology from Smith College and an MS in Psychology from Lehigh University. She has special interests in Nutritional Psychology and the neurobiology of addiction.
